Why ice-water extraction?
Trichomes get brittle at low temperatures. Cold water plus gentle agitation snaps them off cleanly without pulling in plant matter. The broken glandular heads fall through graded micron bags — larger bags catch plant residue, finer bags catch trichomes by size.

Process
1. Freeze flower and water at 1:10 for at least 24 h at −20 °C.
2. Line bucket with 220 µm bag, add flower + ice + cold water. Let sit 15–20 min.

45 & 120 µm = lightly contaminated, ideal for pressing to rosin (hash-rosin).
