Local context

The city describes a process through a chosen dispensing point, eligibility assessment, consent and a participant card. A recent city-of-Zurich residence confirmation is among the documents to prepare. That is different from creating an online club account. Ask the responsible outlet about the documents and its current capacity; an older announcement of additional study places is not an individual offer of admission. Assignment of an authorised study to a canton establishes neither a sales location in this city nor residents’ eligibility. Check the project’s territory, recruitment and personal eligibility conditions with the study itself.

How it works

You can join the community and follow published member offers independently of study admission. If THC access in Zurich interests you, keep three questions separate: your account here, the responsible project’s eligibility rules, and any medical assessment. Completing one does not automatically approve another.

Zurich city or the surrounding canton: check your address

Winterthur, Uster and Dietikon are in the same canton but are separate municipalities. Do not extend Züri Can’s conditions to every Zurich-region address. If you live elsewhere, check the actual catchment of another authorised project. Working in Zurich or regularly spending time there does not replace the required residence assessment.

For Züri Can, clarify the dispensing point first

The city lists participating pharmacies, social clubs and the drug information centre as dispensing channels. The name social club alone therefore does not establish participation in Züri Can. Check the actual study connection before sending personal details. The municipal process calls for assessment at the chosen point before the participant card is issued.

Compare CBD, study products and prescribed medicines separately

A freely sold CBD product in Zurich does not replace a THC study product or prescribed medicine. Assess a specific offer by its composition, quantity and intended use first. Study products follow their dispensing conditions. A price on a general city page proves neither your purchase price nor your eligibility.

Before a Zurich appointment or order

For a study assessment, ask the responsible dispensing point about documents, the process and available capacity. For another lawful offer, check the actual supplier, stock, total cost and handover arrangements. This page confirms neither a CannabisClub.ch collection point in Zurich nor immediate delivery.

Moving within the region can change eligibility

Moving from a Zurich-city address to Dübendorf can matter for a municipally restricted study even though you remain in the canton. Tell the study team before moving and clarify participation and purchasing separately. Holding an existing card does not establish that a new address is accepted.

Visiting Zurich: a stay is not residence

A hotel booking or a stay with friends does not meet Züri Can’s published residence condition. Joining a Swiss club does not create tourist access to THC either. For the journey home, check the rules for the actual product: a Zurich offer does not establish fitness to drive after use or permission to take it across a national border.

Identify the product and its intended use

“Weed” is an everyday term, not a precise legal category. Establish whether the product contains less than 1% or at least 1% total THC and its intended use. An authorised trial and a medical prescription are different access routes. A member account, announcement or indicative price does not create another exemption.

Match the report to the offered batch

An analysis is useful only when you know which sample was tested. Match the batch number, product description, date, units and tested parameters to the offered goods. An attractive PDF or a general certificate for a variety does not establish that connection. Check detection and quantification limits as well: “not detected” does not mean a substance is ruled out under every circumstance. A cannabinoid report does not answer every question about contaminants. Relevant tests depend on the product and its intended use. This guide does not certify any particular batch or declare a product risk-free.

Compare costs on a consistent basis

Compare the same category, equivalent package sizes and comparable declared composition. A price per gram can help for flower; for oil, the amount of CBD in the entire bottle also matters. A cheaper bottle is not necessarily better value when volume or concentration differs. Add shipping, minimum quantities and other actual charges. A calculation based on chosen prices shows only what follows from those assumptions. It does not establish an average shop price, a current club price or savings on your order. Keep the dated product description so that you can check subsequent discrepancies against the original offer.

What to establish before obtaining a product

Before obtaining a product, identify the supplier, the product category and the legal basis for the intended access route. Check specific stock, shipping terms and batch documents. A nationwide website or a page bearing your canton’s name does not establish a local collection point. An announced event is not yet a deliverable offer. A shipping method alone does not guarantee an arrival date either. Our existing registration gives access to a member account; it does not replace these checks. For THC products, the applicable legal conditions remain independent of club membership.

Federal law and local responsibilities

The canton’s name places this guide geographically. It changes neither the federal classification based on total THC nor the requirements for the product category. Authorities and proceedings may be organised at cantonal level; claiming “there are hardly any checks here” without reliable evidence is not a sound basis for a decision. The table therefore establishes no local tolerance ranking, verified shop density or general plant allowance. For a specific official decision, the facts, deadlines and stated appeal rights matter. The FOPH register describes authorised studies, rather than unrestricted access for everyone living in a canton.

Driving, treatment and crossing borders

A Swiss product description does not settle import rules in another country or the conditions for personal carriage. Before travelling, check the destination and transit countries’ rules for the specific product, including any medical documentation required. A CBD label does not confer blanket permission to cross a border. It does not establish fitness to drive either. During treatment, use, interactions and driving require individual advice; this purchasing guide supplies no dosage or treatment promise. Storage and use depend on the actual product and its permissible instructions rather than a general cannabis slogan.
