SCRIPT assigns a study pharmacy and does not publish pharmacy names for security reasons. A purported directory of every Bern THC pharmacy would therefore be unreliable. Contact the research team about your dispensing location. Assignment of an authorised study to a canton establishes neither a sales location in this city nor residents’ eligibility. Check the project’s territory, recruitment and personal eligibility conditions with the study itself.

Bern, Biel and Lucerne are distinct study sites

Bern and Biel are in the canton of Bern; Lucerne is in a different canton. These locations create no general entitlement for every municipality in a canton.

Köniz and Ostermundigen are separate municipalities

An address in the Bern area is not necessarily an address in the city of Bern. Have the project check your exact residence and personal eligibility.

Use your assigned pharmacy

A study card does not mean you can switch freely between all pharmacies in the three cities. Ask which procedure applies to you and how a dispensing location can be changed.

Separate research participation from a medical prescription

Medical cannabis treatment follows a different procedure from SCRIPT. A pharmacy can provide medical services without dispensing for this study.

Check consent for an extended study phase

SCRIPT describes an extension requiring fresh consent. Do not assume that earlier participation automatically covers every later phase.

A business directory does not establish study participation

A pharmacy listing or club profile is not evidence of SCRIPT participation. Use the project’s confirmed contacts for personal documents and access questions.

Identify the product and its intended use

“Weed” is an everyday term, not a precise legal category. Establish whether the product contains less than 1% or at least 1% total THC and its intended use. An authorised trial and a medical prescription are different access routes. A member account, announcement or indicative price does not create another exemption.

Match the report to the offered batch

An analysis is useful only when you know which sample was tested. Match the batch number, product description, date, units and tested parameters to the offered goods. An attractive PDF or a general certificate for a variety does not establish that connection. Check detection and quantification limits as well: “not detected” does not mean a substance is ruled out under every circumstance. A cannabinoid report does not answer every question about contaminants. Relevant tests depend on the product and its intended use. This guide does not certify any particular batch or declare a product risk-free.

Compare costs on a consistent basis

Compare the same category, equivalent package sizes and comparable declared composition. A price per gram can help for flower; for oil, the amount of CBD in the entire bottle also matters. A cheaper bottle is not necessarily better value when volume or concentration differs. Add shipping, minimum quantities and other actual charges. A calculation based on chosen prices shows only what follows from those assumptions. It does not establish an average shop price, a current club price or savings on your order. Keep the dated product description so that you can check subsequent discrepancies against the original offer.

What to establish before obtaining a product

Before obtaining a product, identify the supplier, the product category and the legal basis for the intended access route. Check specific stock, shipping terms and batch documents. A nationwide website or a page bearing your canton’s name does not establish a local collection point. An announced event is not yet a deliverable offer. A shipping method alone does not guarantee an arrival date either. Our existing registration gives access to a member account; it does not replace these checks. For THC products, the applicable legal conditions remain independent of club membership.

Federal law and local responsibilities

The canton’s name places this guide geographically. It changes neither the federal classification based on total THC nor the requirements for the product category. Authorities and proceedings may be organised at cantonal level; claiming “there are hardly any checks here” without reliable evidence is not a sound basis for a decision. The table therefore establishes no local tolerance ranking, verified shop density or general plant allowance. For a specific official decision, the facts, deadlines and stated appeal rights matter. The FOPH register describes authorised studies, rather than unrestricted access for everyone living in a canton.

Driving, treatment and crossing borders

A Swiss product description does not settle import rules in another country or the conditions for personal carriage. Before travelling, check the destination and transit countries’ rules for the specific product, including any medical documentation required. A CBD label does not confer blanket permission to cross a border. It does not establish fitness to drive either. During treatment, use, interactions and driving require individual advice; this purchasing guide supplies no dosage or treatment promise. Storage and use depend on the actual product and its permissible instructions rather than a general cannabis slogan.
