Production Methods
Dry-sift: dry sieving of the flowers, allowing the pure trichome powder to fall through. Bubble hash / Ice-O-Lator: separation in ice water, very clean. Pressed hash: the powder is pressed into slabs using heat and pressure.
Modern Swiss producers often work with hash rosin (solventless using heat and pressure) – the premium class.
Prices and Quality
In retail shops, CBD hash costs between 8–15 CHF/g depending on quality. Premium rosin is priced higher. In the wholesale market, pressed qualities are available starting from 3–5 CHF/g.
Quality indicators: clear colour (from light golden to dark brown depending on the method), strong aroma, soft-elastic (fresher) to crumbly (older) texture, and a clean burn.
