Partner status – requirements & onboarding

Who can become a Partner — and what we need from them.

TL;DR

  • Valid commercial registration.
  • Target-country compliance (e.g. EU Novel Food).
  • Serious, predictable volume.
  • Clear business purpose (retail, distribution, white label).

Formal requirements

Commercial registration extract, VAT ID (EU buyers), valid billing address, authorised contact.

Operational requirements

Active shop/distribution business in the destination market with a working compliance base (product categorisation, labelling, taxes).

Onboarding flow

1. Application with documents. 2. Review by our team. 3. Activation + kick-off. 4. First drop visible in the Partner area.

Verification: what we check and why

Partner verification is deliberately plain: commercial register extract (or equivalent registration in the EU country), VAT number, operating address and an authorised contact person. For EU import the EORI number is added. These items are not formalism — they are the reason partner pricing exists at all, because a verified counterparty measurably lowers default and compliance risk.

What we do not check is the product's market authorisation in the destination country. That responsibility stays with the partner, who alone knows the intended product form, labelling and marketing claims. We do, however, say openly when a batch is unsuitable for the stated use case.

  • Commercial register extract or EU equivalent
  • VAT number and EORI (for EU import)
  • Authorised contact person
  • Statement of target market and planned product form

Volume, activity and keeping the status

Partner status is tied to serious, recurring use — not to a fixed monthly minimum. Regularity is what counts: a shop taking a plannable batch every six to eight weeks is more valuable for batch planning than a buyer with one large order followed by silence.

If an account stays inactive for a long period, the status resets to standard. That is capacity management, not punishment: limited batches are allocated to active partners first. Reactivation is possible any time via the named contact, without repeating the full onboarding.

Data protection and handling of verification documents

Verification documents are used solely to assess partner status — never for marketing and never shared with third parties. Access is limited to the people running the onboarding process. When status ends, deletion can be requested, subject to statutory retention duties such as accounting law.

FAQ

What if my business is just starting?

Startups are welcome when compliance is in place and a realistic first order is planned.

Do I need to guarantee a minimum?

No — but we prefer partners with predictable recurring demand.

Can a sole proprietorship become a partner?

Yes, provided there is a valid registration and VAT number and a genuine resale or processing purpose.

Is there a monthly minimum quantity?

No. Plannable, recurring demand matters — not a fixed monthly volume.

What happens to my company documents?

They serve verification only, are not shared, and are deleted on request after partner status ends, subject to statutory retention periods.
