Interpretation
Prevalence describes a proportion within a defined population and period. Both dimensions must remain comparable. Methodology
We retain the overall 2022 values from the MonAM indicator, calculated from the Swiss Health Survey. The reference population is people aged 15–64 living in private households. 7.6% report use in the past twelve months and 4.0% in the past thirty days. These windows are not independent groups and are not added together. No substantiated lifetime value is provided here; that field remains explicitly unresolved. Unsupported age-group values and an absolute number of “regular” users are not added. Self-reporting and survey participation limit ascertainment. The 2026 editorial review changes neither the 2022 observation year nor the source’s 2024 update.
