Two market realities – one Partner

In Switzerland, „cannabis wholesale" covers two legally distinct worlds: CBD (below 1.0 % THC, commercially allowed) and THC / medical cannabis (only with FOPH authorisation or inside the pilot projects).

CannabisClub combines both under one Partner Program: CBD ships today, medical cannabis will be supplied to licensed distributors, pharmacies and clinics as soon as regulation allows.

For the commercially allowed part, the full CBD portfolio is available: flowers, oil, hash, extracts, bulk. Prices come directly from a Swiss producer, without middlemen, and appear in the drop system as the best available condition.

What "wholesale" actually means in the Swiss market

The Swiss market separates three goods categories sharply: legal CBD below 1.0 % THC (freely tradeable, but potentially treated as a tobacco substitute for tax), medical cannabis above 1.0 % THC (Swissmedic/FOPH authorisation required) and pilot-trial goods (participants only, no resale). A B2B buyer must know which regime they operate in — prices, margins and obligations differ fundamentally.

For shops and resellers only the first category is realistically relevant today. There, the purchase price is not set by negotiation skill but by availability and batch size: indoor in small series stays structurally more expensive than greenhouse volume, regardless of the quantity ordered.

From enquiry to delivery: a realistic timeline

A clean B2B process takes two to four weeks from first enquiry to first pallet. Week 1: verification (commercial register, VAT number, target market) and sample shipment. Week 2: partner sign-off on analytics, alignment on packaging and labelling. Then comes allocation in the next drop, because we do not run permanent stock — we run batches.

That batch logic is the key difference to a classic wholesaler: availability is not infinite. Partners who announce which genetics and volume they plan get more reliable allocations than partners who enquire spontaneously.
