Welcome to the Q3 2026 edition of the Swiss Cannabis Price Index by CannabisClub.ch — the continually updated reference for gram prices in Switzerland. Every month we track outdoor, greenhouse, indoor, hash and CBD oil prices from retail, online shops and the official FOPH pilot projects. Data as of 2026-07-01.

Swiss cannabis price index
Monthly reference prices — retail, online shops, pilot projects.
Methodology
The index aggregates monthly publicly observable retail prices from three channels: (1) brick-and-mortar (CBD shops, kiosks), (2) online retailers with published price lists and (3) prices reported by FOPH pilot projects. Medians smooth outliers; min/max mark the range. Only consumer prices are tracked — wholesale prices are reported separately.
Why prices are dropping
- CBD overcapacity: Swiss production exceeds domestic demand. See CBD overproduction Switzerland.
- Indoor efficiency: LEDs and automation reduce grow costs.
- Legal channels scale: Pilot projects pressure the black market.
- Import competition: Canadian medical cannabis disciplines the premium tier.
What it means for consumers
- CBD has never been cheaper — outdoor entry at 4–5 CHF/g is realistic.
- Legal THC access via pilots and (in future) the CanPG is pricier than the black market — but safer.
