Editorial & sources policy
We write about cannabis, CBD and Swiss law — topics where accuracy matters. This page transparently explains how our content is produced.
Our editorial principles
Fact-based
Every claim about effects, law or dosage is cross-checked against at least one official or peer-reviewed source.
Make reviews identifiable
A specialist review should identify the reviewer, qualifications, scope and date. A general team label does not establish that such a review took place.
No medical promises
We do not give medical recommendations. For health issues we consistently point readers to doctors or Swissmedic-approved bodies.
Up to date
For legal and statistical claims, the reference year and source date matter. A page date alone does not establish a complete new specialist review.
The sources we rely on
- FOPH — Federal Office of Public Health: Cannabis pilot projects, drug policy, medical cannabis statistics.
- Swissmedic: Authorisations, therapeutic products law, cannabis medicine register.
- Narcotics Act (NarcA / NarcCD): Federal Act on Narcotics and its ordinances — basis for CBD/THC thresholds.
- Addiction Switzerland: Consumption data, prevention, independent research.
- PubMed & Cochrane: Peer-reviewed studies on cannabinoids, terpenes and indications.
- EMCDDA: European Monitoring Centre for Drugs — comparative market and legal data.
