What happens to existing members on legalisation day?
The most common question from THC consumers: "And then what? Do I have to sign up again?" No. Here is step by step what applies to existing members on the day regulated sales start.
At a glance
- Your verification stays valid — no second onboarding, no new waitlist.
- Existing verified members are supplied before new signups.
- The range expands inside the member area as soon as the category is legal and licensed.
- Expected window: 2028–2030, depending on the Cannabis Products Act — not a commitment.
Step by step: the first legal sales day
Once the Cannabis Products Act is in force and we are licensed for the new category, this is how it works for you:
- 1. Do nothing — No new account, no repeated identity check, no signing up to a list.
- 2. Notification — You learn about the range opening in the member area and by email, before any public announcement.
- 3. Order — The new category appears next to the existing CBD range in the member area.
- 4. Priority order — If launch volumes are tight, existing verified members are supplied before new signups.
Why there will be no second waitlist
A waitlist is the consequence of missing verification: suppliers have to check who is of age and resident in Switzerland before they hand anything over. That is exactly the check we run today — free, in advance, for every member.
That is why we need no list on day one. We have a verified member base, and launch volumes are allocated along that base instead of along a signup stampede.
New signups remain possible, of course — they simply start at step one while you are at step three.
What we do not promise
We are not telling you we can supply without limits on day one. Launch volumes under a new regulation are almost always tight, and licensing procedures take time.
We are not giving you a date either. The political process sits with parliament; experts consider first legal sales between 2028 and 2030 realistic, and delays are part of such procedures. The member price of CHF 3–5/g is likewise a plan based on today's wholesale prices — not a guarantee.
What is binding: membership stays free, your verification stays valid, and existing members are supplied first.
Between today and day one
In the meantime something more useful than waiting happens: we build volume. The more members are pooled across Switzerland, the larger the order volumes with licensed Swiss indoor producers and the lower the purchase prices — for CBD today and for the regulated category later.
Your registration is therefore not only your position, it is also the reason the member price can be low on day one.
Frequently asked
- Do I have to register again on legalisation day?
- No. Existing members keep their account and verification. There is no second onboarding.
- Will there be a waitlist then?
- Not for existing members. Launch volumes are allocated along the already verified member base.
- Will I be notified?
- Yes, in the member area and by email — before any public communication.
- What if I never ordered anything in the meantime?
- No problem. There is no activity requirement, no minimum order and no expiry of membership.
- When is day one expected?
- Based on current deliberations, 2028 to 2030 is considered realistic. There is no binding date while the law is not in force.
- What will a gram cost then?
- We plan CHF 3–5/g for members, derived from today's wholesale prices of around CHF 3.50/g. That is a plan, not a commitment.
In Switzerland, THC products are not freely available outside a medical prescription or approved pilot projects. Today we sell only legal CBD products containing less than 1% THC. Timelines and future prices are expectations, not commitments. Last updated August 2026.
