Indoor Grow Switzerland — The Complete Setup Guide

Indoor growing means total control: light, temperature, humidity, CO₂, nutrients. Legal for CBD, illegal for THC without a permit.

Lighting — LED Has Overtaken HPS

Full-spectrum LED (Samsung LM301H): 2.7–3.0 µmol/J. For 1 m²: 300–400 W actual power draw.

HPS 400/600 W: higher heat output, inferior spectrum in veg, now only a budget option in new setups.

PPFD targets: Veg 300–500 µmol/m²/s, flower 700–900. Up to 1200 with CO₂.

Climate — VPD and Ventilation

VPD: Veg 0.8–1.2 kPa (24 °C / 65% RH). Flower 1.2–1.5 kPa. Late flower 1.5–1.7 to prevent mold.

Exhaust: Tent volume × 60–80 = m³/h. A 1×1×2 m tent = 150–200 m³/h + 30% for carbon filter resistance.

CO₂: 800–1200 ppm in flower yields 15–25% more.

Nutrients & Medium

Soil: most forgiving start. Coco: faster growth. Hydro/DWC: highest yield, smallest margin of error.

NPK: Veg 3-1-2, flower 1-3-4. pH soil 6.2–6.8, coco/hydro 5.6–6.2. EC veg 1.2–1.8, flower 1.6–2.4.
