CBD white label & private label

What is available today under white label / private label — and what is not.

TL;DR

  • Available: oils, flower pouches, selected extracts.
  • From a minimum, CoA per batch.
  • Design and label by partner, target-country compliance by partner.
  • Not available: THC products, Novel-Food-sensitive categories without authorisation.

What white label covers today

Standard CBD oils (broad-/full-spectrum, 5–25 %), flower pouches in smaller pack sizes and selected extracts can be produced with a Partner label — from defined minimum runs per format.

Responsibility split

We supply bulk product, packaging and (on request) label printing. The partner owns brand design, market compliance (Novel Food, cosmetics, labelling) and distribution in the destination.

What white label does not cover

THC products, medical claims without approval, Novel Food categories in countries that do not accept EU authorisation.

What white label realistically means — and what it doesn't

White label means existing, tested goods under your own brand. It does not mean that arbitrary formulations, flavours or cannabinoid combinations can be produced at small volume. Genuinely adaptable are packaging, label, container size and cultivar selection; developing a new formulation means development time, stability testing and a substantially higher minimum order.

For shops that is good news: brand equity is built on packaging and communication, not on the recipe. A clear line of three to five cultivars with consistent visuals and honest analytics sells better in practice than twelve arbitrary variants without a profile.

  • Adaptable: label, container, cultivar mix, fill weight
  • Costly: new formulations, flavours, active combinations
  • Analytics stay batch-bound and ship with the goods
  • Brand effect comes from consistency, not SKU count

Labelling: the most common failure point

Most white-label problems arise not in production but on the label. Health claims are inadmissible on CBD products without an authorised claim — "helps with sleep problems" effectively turns a consumer good into a medicinal promise. Equally common are missing mandatory fields: batch number, net content, responsible placer on the market, warnings.

We review partner label drafts for obvious risks but that does not replace legal review in the destination market. Anyone shipping to several countries should plan labels per market rather than as one universal version.

FAQ

From what volume does white label make sense?

Typically from a few thousand units per oil format.

How long does production take?

4–8 weeks depending on format, including release and analytics.

From what volume does white label make sense?

Once there is recurring demand and packaging cost per unit no longer eats the margin — usually from several hundred units per line.

Do you handle label design?

We provide technical specifications and flag obvious risks; design and legal clearance in the target market remain with the partner.

Can I supply my own packaging?

Yes, provided it is suitable for food-grade contact, light- and odour-tight, and remains compatible with our filling processes. We review a sample up front and report back if a container is unsuitable for the planned fill weight or shelf life.
