Cannabis at Street Parade Zurich: the honest guide
Roughly a million people around the lake basin, no legal THC sales and a very busy black market. If you plan ahead, you get lab-tested Swiss cannabis below 1% THC delivered to your hotel — free membership, no Swiss residency needed.

Street Parade Zurich: format, crowd, context
The Street Parade runs along Zurich's lake basin in mid-August, from Utoquai to Hafendamm Enge — Europe's largest techno parade, one day, an extremely dense crowd and afterparties across the whole weekend. A large share of the crowd flies in and stays in hotels, hostels or with friends in town.
Entry and checks at Street Parade Zurich
There is no legal cannabis sale at the parade. What is offered on the street is black market: unknown potency, often cut, holiday pricing. Zurich city police are highly visible and stop-and-checks are routine that day; an adult carrying up to 10 grams of THC cannabis normally gets the 100-franc fixed penalty, while passing it to friends is an offence.
The legal situation in canton Zurich
Switzerland-wide: cannabis containing more than 1% THC is illegal. Adults aged 18+ carrying up to 10 grams for personal use normally receive a 100-franc fixed penalty with no criminal proceedings. Selling, sharing and growing remain punishable — including between friends in a chalet. Cannabis below 1% THC, which is what we deliver, does not fall under the Narcotics Act and is freely tradeable.
Zurich runs 'Züri Can', one of the largest approved regulated-sale pilot projects — open only to adults registered in the city. Everyone else falls under the 100-franc fixed penalty for up to 10 grams.
Delivery to Zurich
Zurich is one of the best-served delivery areas in Switzerland. Hotels in Enge, districts 4 and 5 and around the main station accept parcels at reception. Order in the week before the parade — on parade Saturday parts of the centre are closed and delivery shifts.
You do not need a permanent address — only an address in Zurich or nearby where you can receive the parcel during your stay.
- Give the full address — Name of the property, 'c/o your name, room/flat XY', street, postcode and town.
- Tell reception briefly — One sentence at check-in stops the parcel from going back as undeliverable.
- Neutral packaging — No logo, no product reference, no smell — an ordinary parcel from the outside.
- Timing before departure — Order at least two working days before check-out, or redirect the parcel to a pick-up point.
How to order before the festival
The process is built for travellers: no proof of residence, no Swiss social security number, no Swiss ID. Your membership stays active — next time you are in Zurich, order with the same account and a new delivery address.
- 1. Sign up free + age verification — About two minutes. A valid passport or ID card is enough — foreign documents included.
- 2. Enter your address in Zurich — Hotel, chalet, holiday flat or apartment in Zurich. All that matters is that you can receive the parcel there.
- 3. Order from the current drops — The member area shows available batches with lab values, terpene profile and price per gram.
- 4. Get a discreet delivery — Neutral packaging, normally the day after dispatch.
Prices: member conditions, no resort mark-up
In a resort almost everything costs more than in the lowlands — not with us. The price depends on the batch and on member conditions, not on where your hotel is. Because we produce in Sarnen and ship directly to members, the retail margin simply is not there.
Membership is free: no fee, no minimum order, no notice period. For every batch you see the certificate of analysis and the price per gram before ordering.
THC: what is possible today and what is not
The honest answer for visitors: there is no legal way for a tourist to buy THC cannabis in Switzerland. The approved pilot projects in Zurich, Basel, Bern and other cities require residency in that municipality plus enrolment in the study. Medical cannabis requires a Swiss prescription.
What is legal and available right now: Swiss indoor cannabis below 1% THC, lab-tested, with the full terpene profile and cannabinoid values you can see before buying. The planned Cannabis Products Act (CanPG) could open access in the medium term, and existing members would be first in line. We promise neither a date nor a price.
